Reporting to a Managing Partner, the overall goals and responsibilities of the position are:
- Create and drive departmental revenue goals.
- Develop strategy and execute sales campaigns to current and new b-to-b accounts.
- Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
- Build and manage a team of Sales/Account Executives (i.e. hires, trains, coaches, appraises, rewards, motivates, disciplines, recommends termination as necessary, etc.).
- Create incentive plans.
- Educates sales unit in terms of sales tactics.
- Directs professional account management activities.
- Provides quarterly results assessments of sales staff's productivity.
- Gather maximum analysis of department, evaluate that information and modify the department in order to increase revenue.
- Contact key clients as needed to establish and maintain strong relationships.
- Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales.
- Create department's Annual Budget and set quarterly goals.
In order to succeed in this position, you are required to:
- Have 10+ years of broad sales experience/contacts in the corporate arena and/ or the entertainment (theatre, sports and the concert) industry.
- Have experience working in B to B service environment with proven ability to build successful sales campaigns.
- Track record of driving results and exceeding goals.
- Have thorough management experience and a proven track record of motivating and growing departments.
- Display exceptional negotiation, organizational, written, verbal, presentation and networking skills.
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to be self-motivated in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Bachelors degree, MBA a plus.
